2014 Calgary Stampede Bull Riding Champion

Congratulations to this years Calgary Stampede Bull Riding Champion Scott Schiffner. Scott battled hard all week to secure a spot in Championship Sunday and didn't look back putting up an impressive 89.5 atop Mr. Buddy in front of approximately 25,000 attendees and held off Ty Pozzobon to claim his second Stampede bronze. Tractorland is very proud to sponsor Scott and be associated with such a fantastic competitor and individual.

Tractorland is very pleased to announce the acquisition of the Kubota division from Farmway Machinery in High River and opening of High River Tractorland. We will be open June 1st in our temporary building across from UFA. We would like to wish Hugh Joyce all the best in his future endeavors and look forward to becoming a part of the community in High River. Tractorland is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Extreme Cowboy Alberta. ECA is committed to offering a fun, safe equine sport for the whole family. ECA will encourage respect and support all rider abilities. This event provides all ages of riders and horse breeds the opportunity to compete in a timed obstacle event.  It has been promoted as Cowboy Up at the Calgary Stampede and since then and has generated much excitement.

Tractorland and Kubota Canada are pleased to announce the sponsorship of Rocky Mountain Show Jumping, North America's Most Progressive Venue. RMSJ hosts Show Jumping Tournaments and their objectives is to bring international equine knowledge to the community. They are increasing the level of the sport by providing horses and training of a higher quality as well as providing Show Jumping events for riders of all levels. Tractorland and Kubota Canada will be the official tractor supplier to RMSJ and Royal West. Tractorland/Kubota equipment will be seen at all RMSJ events and the duo will be the title sponsor of the Royal West Canadian Championship.

Scott is passionate about bull riding and a great ambassador for the sport of rodeo. Scott’s profile is well known throughout North America. Scott accompanied the Prime Minister on a Canadian Trade Mission to China in the winter of 2012, at the request of the Chinese government, representing a true Canadian Cowboy. The trip was so successful, he was asked to return to the Beijing and Hong Kong Trade Missions in the spring of 2012.

Scott was selected to give a private bull riding demonstration to Will and Kate (the Duke and Duchess) during their visit to the Calgary Stampede in 2011.

Scott has a huge fan base that follows him as he competes at PBR Canada Cup Tour, Canadian Pro Rodeo Association (CPRA) and Pro Rodeo Cowboys Assn (PRCA) events.

Scott always takes the time to speak to kids, sign autographs and promote the sport of rodeo and bull riding. Scott is sought after by the media to speak on behalf of his sport. When Scott is not bull riding, he can be found working his ranch just outside of Calgary.
